Works well with slight modifications
This does move water to the tank. It traps debris. The clear door can be easily removed to remove the debris but since it is plastic, the clear door can break in cold weather, so be careful. We had to bend the existing downspout inward so the diverter would fit. Our water tank was located further away than the length of hose provided. We used hose clamps to secure the new hose to the diverter as well as the parts we purchased to secure the hose to the top of our water tank.
