Nice Receiver!
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this Yamaha Receiver as part of a home theater package. the YHT-497. The sound quality is very good. Yamaha has always made quality receivers with excellent sound quality . But,keep in mind this is a 5.1 channel receiver. with 4 HDMI inputs. Also the video quality via the HDMI is excellent. You cannot go wrong with this receiver at this price and with Yamaha quality!

Sweet receiver!
The Yamaha Aventage RX-A550 is a very nice unit it has many features that any audiophile will enjoy! This model was upgrade from the HTR-4065, also a nice model but. The RX-A550 is definitely a better quality model. Better sound everything works smooth setting up the WiFi took about 5 mins . But this model does have a lot of features, so I would take a few minutes and read the manual, the manual comes in a CD . Which you can download and print it.
