Awesome reel!
This is my 3rd Orvis Battenkill. The Battenkill l fly reel is the perfect reel for a 3-4 weight bamboo fly rod.

Beautiful nymph for a price that can’t be beat!
Awesome nymph that mimics the golden stonefly. I have used this fly, brown and black stones tied by this company for the past 4 years. These flies when used with a splitshot for weight and fished in the glacial rivers of Montana, Idaho, Washington, and Alberta, British Columbia of southern Canada are exceedingly effective with native Westslope Cutthroat trout. Using these flies, I have caught Cutthroat trout up to 5 lbs. in weight and have even caught Bull Trout up to 8 lbs. on them. I can't tie a half dozen of these flies for the price that they are sold by the dozen. A quality fly that can take a beating and not lose shape.
