Easy to see hard to lose and well designed
I was out cycling with a friend when he got a flat, I noticed the tyre levers he was using were nothing like my slim black compact levers in my saddle bag and I thought “typical why are people so drawn to brightly coloured items”, but after closer inspection I was initially impressed.
My friend pointed out that he had never lost a tyre lever since buying these brightly coloured ones and I can’t begin to count the number of times I have lost levers, because I scan the surrounding area and can’t see them these are so hard to miss.
They are big or should I say chunky, nicely fill your hand (I have sizeable hands) so, easy to grip, my impressions were they were quite rigid and at first I was not sure about the smooth feel of them but was impressed/curious enough to but a set.
I have since tried them on every combination of tyre and rim that I have and I am hooked. They are quite rigid and have a nice curve to the nice wide “hook end” so once under the tyre bead they do not flex and slip back out, their smooth finish makes pulling/pushing the lever around between the tyre and rim a lot easier that my old levers and as yet they have not left any marks on my rims and the spoke hook is ambidextrous which is a plus.

Nice fit in the pocket size with a big bright light
2 of 2 found this helpful Ok I like this item, I bought it for the light and thought the bell function was a nice extra, and it is, it’s just a pity that most people just ignore it apparently because it does not make a ‘ding’ ‘ding’ sound like a bell.
The unit is nice and compact, is simple to fit and remove so no issues with removing it when you park somewhere, just slip the light off the bike and pop it in your pocket and it just slides back onto the mount and clicks securely in place.
As for the light it is nice and bright and throws a good clean wide pattern. I’m not too sure about the battery life as the nights have been getting lighter since buying it so have not really had the opportunity to test its light time. That being said it does have high and low light settings as well as flash so it should easily get you home even in the long winter nights.
The indicators work and the remote operates all the functions no problem although I do feel that the indicators are not really that effective as they are too close together to really let oncoming people know which direction you are going in.
All in all I would buy another without having to think too hard about it I have paid more for less before now.

Lightweight and very well designed
1 of 1 found this helpful Nice compact, when they first arrived I thought they were a little on the small side, almost like a toy but then I have large hands.
Also you do not need big tools when you are out on the bike as they just add to the bulk and weight you need to carry and it was as I was packing them in my bag I thought boy was I wrong on the size, They worked a treat and take up next to no space.
They are well thought out and have two recesses in the mouldings on the handles that are magnetised and a spare quick link can be held securely in the handles so no searching for that link you put in the tool bag somewhere.
I am more than happy with this tool, the price was excellent and I highly recommend it.
