Why did I wait so long?
I didnt think a espresso machine at this price could make drinks equivalent to Starbucks, etc..I had a Delonghi many, many years ago, and I wasnt impressed with the flavor..this machine makes very good lattes..and if I want to tweak something to try to change the flavor, I have dials to do that..I clean mine after every use because I want to keep it like new as long as possible. I tried the machine at Seattle Coffee Gear before purchasing, so I could verify the taste of the latte would be worth the price..and it was. The coffee they used, Dancing Goats blend, was so good I could even drink the espresso alone without the milk and syrup..the beans I bought from a local roaster are too bitter to drink alone, so I plan to order the Dancing Goats blend-if I can get it sent to my house quick enough after roasting. I have just started with this machine- I only have 1 syrup- but I plan to buy more syrups so I can make many varieties of flavored lattes...I used to go out at night searching for a open Starbucks to get my latte fix..now I can do it at home anytime, and save time and money!
