The ultimate in grunge.
If you are only ever going to buy one grunge album - this has to be it. 1991 saw the release of this classic and a whole new sound was created. Raw passion & beauty flows from every track. The more well known tracks such as 'Alive', 'Even Flow' & 'Jeremy' are all to be found here alongside stunning tracks such as 'Black' (my personal all time favourite song), 'Garden', 'Once' etc. The Pearl Jam family is large. With bands such as Brad, Temple Of The Dog & Mother Love Bone all featuring Pearl Jam members. If you like Pearl Jam you need to hear these other bands too. To summarise 'Ten' though, to me it is the sound of a whole era & a sound that never ages or becomes boring. 'Ten' still sounds as fresh & exciting today as it did 15 years ago. The subject matter on 'Ten' is thought provoking & profound. The songs instantly memorable & the sound totally unique. Highest recommendation all the way.

Pearl Jam - Lost Dogs. Grunge rarities.
This double cd album just goes to show how incredible Pearl Jam are. It is a collection of B-Sides & various rarities from their career, and every track is a winner. A true testament to their talent, this proves that Pearl Jam put their heart & soul into everything they do - B-Sides included. Any true Pearl Jam fan needs to own this album, your collection is not complete without it. Until the release of this album PJ fans had to spend a small fortune ferreting out these rare tracks on obscure compilations & very hard to find singles, such as their fan club only singles. Well, not anymore, because you get loads of those rarities here on this 2 cd set. The highest recommendation from me on this cd set. Yes, as a Pearl Jam fan for 15 years i may be a little biased, but this is genuinely awesome stuff!
