Great TV When It Does Not Melt Down
1 of 3 found this helpful We purchased the ICF-CD555TV and placed it under the kitched cabinet a couple of years ago. It has a great picture, the timer feature is very handy and sound quality was nice for the size of the unit. We were very pleased with our purchase after a year. Unfortunately our unit decided one day to just melt down. There must have bee some internal short in the circuitry and a portion of the front panel literally melted. Needless to say, the unit died and we had no warranty left. We liked the TV so much though, we bought another one on E-bay. We purchased a 3 year extended warranty this time which will probably insure that the tv will work at least until the warranty expires.
