A pretty good psycho-thriller, even for non-machinists
0 of 1 found this helpful I like psycho-thrillers in general, and I used to be a machinist, so this seemed like a good fit for me, and it was. It keeps you guessing throughout about what is really going on vs. what is just the lead character's perception of what is going on. It is fairly graphic in a few places, but not excessively so. Almost too realistic for me, having spent years in a similar environment. A couple times I nearly stopped watching because I thought I knew what was going to happen next and that it would be quite unpleasant, but it's sort of like a train wreck, you can't look away... Christian Bale is halloween-scary thin, and it adds a lot to the character. If you've ever not slept long enough to where things started getting weird, you will find this quite believable. Well worth the cost of the DVD, but I don't know that it would be worth a $50 date night on the big screen.

I have 4 of them, if that tells you anything
Added another bike to the fleet, and feel naked without a speedometer with cadence, so I bought what is now my 4th Strada Cadence wired bicycle computer. I don't like wireless. I do like knowing from any screen if I am above or below my avg. speed, and I rely on the cadence to tell me when I am either getting lazy and slowing down, or pushing too hard in the wrong gear which invariably leads to knee issues for me. At first I was put off by only having one "button" to press during normal use, but I see the wisdom of it now that I've gotten used to it. You can do everything you need to do, and you can operate it with mittens on if you need too, because you don't have to press a tiny button, you press the whole thing down. I like that you can easily mount the head unit on the handlebar or the stem too.
