great fan oven
Basic grilling. Could do with more hotplate power for omelettes but it's ok, it just takes a bit longer.

ok but there's better
1 of 2 found this helpful Everything works quite well including text quality in word processors. Pictures look reasonable but not great except for text in small images but this only affects a few people on twitter. The brightness & colour uniformity across the screen is excellent. I looked at a black background in a dark room & there was hardly any light bleed. Dark movie scenes look fine.
Pure red, green & blue are accurate.
I used the goom graphics visualization in the media player & there was no ghosting/trailing.
AMVA+ screens like this are best for those doing color grading where contrast matters most.
The viewing angles are superb, even better than the previous AMVA, and much better than TN. It is Windows 10 compatible.
The screen has a light anti-glare coating so white backgrounds don't appear too grainy or dirty as they can on many IPS screens. It has a matte surface.
Black on some IPS screens isn't that great. It looks fine on this.
A few green shades are not correct but this can't be noticed viewing pictures of forests.
IPS screens have a problem called “IPS glow” & many have light bleed.
The quality isn't as good as my previous TN LCD, the 20” IIyama e2008hds, which has no light bleed. (The iiyama b2283hs is a 21” version of it. The iiyama X2283HSU-b1dp is a 21” VA version of it. The iiyama X2483HSU-B2 is a 24” AMVA. The iiyama XUB2492HSU-B1 is a 24” IPS. All are flicker-free with low-blue-light mode.)
Here's my best settings: low blue light mode 50%, sharpness 6, brightness about 10 & contrast a bit lower. Set the AMA (Advanced Motion Accelerator) function to high, not premium. This helps cut motion trails.
In using low blue light mode the image quality suffers a little but it's good for night use.
Using the lagom tests this & my old Benq performed poorly in the contrast tests. My previous TN LCD, the 20” IIyama e2008hds, performed very well. Hence I recommend IIyama. VA & AMVA screens have a better contrast than TN & IPS screens.
Some of the so-called “expert” reviewers don't know the correct way to test monitors for real-world situations.
If you use it 12 hours daily you'll save about £7 per year on the older LCD screens.
(To deal with a "dead" pixel rub the area gently & it will correct itself immediately or in a few days. A crystal has been dislodged and needs correction. Playing a video/game over it may also correct it.)
For non-gamers who don't need a vesa mount I recommend IPS screens from dell. Much better color accuracy.

Daewoo door alarm
I've used it for 3 weeks and it works well. It worked when I put the main unit in the living room so walls are no problem.
It uses an adhesive sticker to stick the bell button but Ebay sells adhesive stickers. The button uses an L1028 (MN21) battery, sold on ebay.
