Excellent Attenuators - Highly Recommended.
I am using the Harrison Labs 6 dB RCA Line Level Attenuators in a hi-fi application. I recently purchased a phono preamp with a higher than usual amount of gain. At 46 dB, it was too much gain for the front end of my integrated tube amplifier to handle. I couldn't get the volume knob past 9 o'clock without distortion. I had to do several things to get my system to adapt to the new high gain phono preamp. A big part of the solution with installing the Harrison Lab 6 dB attenuators at the input to my integrated tube amp as shown in the attached photo. Now I am able to use more of volume with my amp and the distortion is gone. Sounds very smooth and comfortable to listen to now. This a great product and I highly recommend them without reservation. Thank you.
