Not Bad
When I first bought this record, I was hoping/dreaming for another Unknown pleasures type record. Its not quite that, but there are a few good songs there, and you can certainly still get a bit of the classic Hook/Sumner/Morris/ sound, which we didn't see too much of again in the NO years.
To cut a long story short, if you are a JD fan, its certainly worth having in the collection but not their finest work.

Handy Little Unit
Good points: handy little unit and perfect for my shed which is why I bought it. CD, and USB working great. AM radio has good reception, Takes batteries or the supplied 240 volt cord, has three presets for radio although I'd like a couple more.
Bad points: Has no carry handle, FM reception is acceptable but not brilliant. I live in a semi rural area with not the best reception. I tested this unit next to a no name brand radio and that had superior FM reception. Having said that, it gets the stations I need so I'm happy enough. Would prefer a fine tuner on it also, I'm sure people living in an urban area would have no reception issues. Sound quality is a little tinny as someone else said but to be expected for those tiny speakers and it is nice enough, and a pretty loud little unit too.
Don't take any notice of the negative review claiming only stop and go for the CD as that person had clearly not worked out how to use it before posting. It has all the usual functions for CD, and for playing tracks off a USB stick
Overall I'm happy with the unit as a shed radio and especially considering the $59 I payed.

Great book
Quality printing with tons of nice colour photos, plus line drawings and sketches which always add to this kind of book in my opinion, and in this case, they are done by the author. The content is very engaging for anyone thinking about giving dinghy cruising a go and will no doubt also give a few ideas to the experienced dinghy cruiser as well. There is another well known book on Dinghy cruising by the wife of a Frank Dye which is also in my bookcase. - Personally, I think if you're only going to buy one book on dinghy cruising, this is certainly the superior book.. One major error which any Australians who read it are going to pick up, is of course the Captain Cook fixing Endeavor up in Botany bay after he wrecked her on the Great barrier reef in 1770(The Endevour River in Cooktown in North Queensland is a long way from Botany bay!), but that is forgivable because it is written by an English architect who is not family with Australian geography! It is a nicely organised, and beautifully written book - in my opinion, if you are new to the idea of cruising on a small open boat and only going to buy one book, this is the one I'd go with!
