My Sommer opener works again
1 of 1 found this helpful This works fine to get my garage door opener working again BUT I wish that I could have got just the sensors themselves for a lower price without the mounting brackets and wire, which I already have.

Works well, but...
I am using this with a Google Fi data-only SIM to provide access to a WiFi -connected thermostat in a remote location, and it does a good job of that.
My only disappointment is that there does not seem to be any way of protecting the device with a password to prevent a person with physical access to it from changing any settings. In my situation, I trust the people who have physical access to it, but I would still like a password-protect option.

OK, but not great
The wipe in the envelope labeled "wet" was bone dry, so I moistened it with rubbing alcohol to clean the screen. The instructions on the back of the package were in tiny print, but enlarging them so they were legible didn't help much because they were incomprehensible (I think most of the individual words were actually English, but the end result was not), but I found a YouTube video with instructions for installing a similar product.
