Wells Lamont Premium Leather Work Gloves Size Small Ball And Tape 1132S 1 Pair

Like the legendary gremlin, DO NOT get them wet!!!
These gloves are simply fabulous! Luxurious. Slipping them on was like coating my hands with butter. Yup. They are that soft. The texture made me feel pampered; which is great when your hands sting bc they are are dry & cracking. If you want to treat yourself, get yourself a pair of these! Like several other reviewers, I was even wearing them while gardening. Getting them wet meant they shrank, becoming stiff & inflexible as part of the drying process. Bottom line - these gloves are da bomb if you keep them away from moisture. Water not only ruins their texture, it alters their size. ( Remember the OJ trial? If the glove doesn’t fit, ...) All in all, this a wonderful addition to your work (and safety) gear as long as you understand how to care for them. I wish there had been a warning on the labels but at the time there wasn’t.

Emotionally compelling, thoroughly immersive, imaginatively captivating.
I decided to give Dragon Age a go after playing Mass Effect. A bit of a break was called for before resuming the effort to save the universe as Fem Shep in Mass Effect 2, so... I researched console RPG's and decided on DA:O/UE. Having been a gamer for the better part of thirty years (ahem), I have learned NOT to buy games at launch. Epic games like Mass Effect ALWAYS have expansions. If I like the game, I'll want the expansions. It's a no brainer to buy the GOTY edition, after the price drops, since it provides the expansions at a decent price. (Patience pays off). I not only game for pleasure; I have an incurable illness which generates a lot of pain. Gaming is a great way to divert my attention from that. Honestly, this was my first fantasy/RPG experience living among knights and dragons. As a woman, I so appreciate the ability to customize my character, This might not seem like a big deal to some, but I remember too well the days when characters were as generic as a bar code. Customization means the gamer gets to create the character in her/his likeness. Yeah, I admit. It is a god thing... DA:O (UE) has so many qualities to recommend it: superb voice acting!! (How can anyone resist Claudia Black??) Excellent animation: although not quite on a par with Mass Effect.. The humor is well timed, appropriate and appreciated. While I'd heard so much chatter about same-sex flirting by NPC characters, I'm sorry to say I experience none of it. :( Sometimes the combat was frustrating. I'm accustomed to pushing a button to have my character take a certain action. This combat was more strategy based, which I am not used to. There's enough direct control to keep it from becoming a real flaw. The companions serve to convey critical info and humor. In some games, companions end up being more of a hindrance more than a help. Here, they are critical to the storyline. I became attached to specific companions that I used routinely, although, in companion-specific quests, the companion is pre-determined. I preferred to play as a mage & almost always included another mage. A rogue was required to deal with locks. That meant choosing a warrior which was often my beloved Mabari hound. I was bummed that gifts didn't seem to have any effect on him. :( One of the few things I disliked was the limit on inventory. I have played games which did not put a cap on the items one could carry & I find that more useful. In the dialogue, there were a number of choices one could make which influenced the direction of the game. I liked that there was always a choice I felt comfortable with. I faced a challenge in getting the hang of issuing orders to members of my party; luckily the game was pretty forgiving and had a fairly gradual learning curve. I got at least 60 hours of entertainment from this, so it was well worth what I paid for it. Bottom line: DA;O (UE) is a wonderful RPG for anyone who is just beginning to explore this type of RPG. I'd never used magic before! It is so well done that even seasoned gamers will find lots to like here. The story is believable, and the mechanics of the game are well thought out and logical. If you are on the fence about trying this game, you're doing yourself a favor by buying it.
