Pros and Cons...

By itself, this studio light is incredibly bright -almost blinding- and easy to adjust its' brightness level. It easily installs inside a 59 inch octagonal softbox with white diffuser via the bowens mount. However, somehow it loses a great deal of the brightness through the diffuser almost to the point of uselessness, and I'm having a tough time restoring the brightness level inside it. I may have to research alternative white diffusers or a much brighter COB light at a higher wattage level.

I Love This Camera. Not much else I can say beyond that. :-D

I Love This Camera. What else is there to say? :-D The low-light sensitivity and shallow depth of field inherent with the large super 35mm camera sensor, plus the interchangeable lens options were the primary reasons for buying this camera. I was also impressed with its' performance value comparative to the much more expensive Canon C100. The FS100 and C100 are surprisingly similar when it comes to picture quality and video performance, yet the FS100 costs less than some of the lenses for the C100. So, budget filmmakers who don't want to look like budget filmmakers will find a lot to like about this camera. :-D
