Best Sounding Beck Out There!
Sound Quality is Amazing. Excellent, dynamic mastering.
Hands down, this is the best sounding version of this material. Even better than the SACD. The drums are FAR improved, being less boomy and more natural sounding. The top end seems SLIGHTLY boosted in some places, but the SACD/DVD-A/CD sounded that way occasionally too, so it's probably the recording. This is an audiophile recording not to be missed. Don't wait to buy the mofi version, even if you have the CD or SACD. I have listened to this album so many times on all the different formats (less vinyl). It's an album I know inside and out. It's always been one of my favorites. I have not heard it sound as good as this MOFI ever. It is without a doubt the best sounding, most dynamic Sea Change there is.
