Krups Orchestro Dialog FNF2 Espresso Machine
0 of 1 found this helpful Bought this as I wanted a bean to cup machine. Price was really good but machine was faulty. A £5 O-ring fixed the fault (plus a few hours to strip and re-assemble). Now the thing is running smoothly I am happy. Produces excellent espresso with a beautiful crema. Its easy to use with 3 selections. Normal cup, strong Espresso and 2 cup. For each of these buttons you can determine the volume in millilitres, it dispenses. There are global settings for Strength, Pre-brew duration, temperature as well as Auto turn on and auto turn off. There is a clear backlit display that shows the machine settings and current status. On the right hand side of the machine there are 2 buttons, one for steam and the other for hot water.
Here lies my only gripe with the machine. Hot water is ok but takes a while to fill a cup (probably better to use a kettle id you want tea), the Steam nozzle is a short stubby affair with an attachment to connect milk via a tube, to provide 'auto capuccino' feature. I do not have the tube or milk container so use the steam nozzle conventionally. So, it does the job, but would be better being longer and thinner.
There is a removeable water tank on the right hand side and a flap on the top left, to fill with beans.
There is also a flap on top enabling the use of pre-ground coffee (decaf??) on a cup by cup basis.
Overall - pleased with the machine, the finish looks good if a little 'plasticky' (is that a real word?). Don't know what the retail price of this machine is, but as I paid only £60 (albeit not working) I am happy.

Works, just about.
My main gripe is the two Allen bolts that are supplied to replace the original ones to hold the L shaped bracket. They aren’t long enough. On my 2018 R1250GS these bolt did not protrude enough to catch the thread of the captive nut and the supplied unlock nut. I had to use the bolt without the supplied flat washer and lock washer. I have ordered some longer stainless Allen bolt to replace them in due course. Also the spacer that goes on the tightening handle shaft, is too wide. I’ve forced it in but wasn’t happy at having to bend stuff to get it in.
