Great, too bad it's off the air...
First of all, I really love this show. The only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 is that the saga is SO very incomplete. I mean just when I'm REALLY drawn into it, the series is over.
It's not your typical scifi series about a band of people from all walks of life, ... the captain and his first officer fought together in a war to have the freedom to keep their own independance against the Unification of an entire solar system. The first officer is married to the pilot, a really funny guy who is very much a man, but his "manliness" sometimes pales in comparison to his wife's level of courage and guts... A Companion (kind of like a very sexy modern day geisha) joins the crew to improve (yes, improve) the reputation of the business that the ship is used to conduct... A Preacher or "sheppard" who just wanted to see what was out there in the solar system, stays with them because he beleives it might be his calling to do so... A brawny, self-centered, gun-crazed man who is constantly on the verge of turning on the crew, but somehow comes through being the hero more often than not. A naive country girl who is a mechanical genius. A wealthy doctor and his secret, which happens to be his very brilliant, yet disturbed sister, who are fugitives from the government. It has drama, action, mystery, unrealized affection,... it's a fantastic show.
A good metaphor for my feelings about this series?.... Imagine your grandmother invites you over for your favorite 3 course meal. You've been anticipating these recipes for a few days that she has perfected over the years and today is the day you get to partake in all the heartiness of her culinary skills. You sit down at the table to eat and she brings out her wonderful appetizer. You savor every bite, but you are really looking forward to the main course. As soon as you finish, she brings you dessert. Now, you love her desserts, but here you are, anticipating the "meat" of the meal, -- and although dessert is great, you can't help but miss the main course. "Firefly" Season 1 is the appetizer, "Serenity" the movie is dessert. Although it's all very enjoyable, I can't help but miss the main course, or in this case, the rest of the series as it should have been.
The movie "Serenity" makes a decent attempt at picking up where the series left off, but I have to say it still left me wanting more. If I could, I'd come back and give it a 5 if and when someone decides to produce this series direct to the internet like they have with Star Trek's Original Series. I would really love to see that happen.

Quality love seat, that looks great!
I absolutely LOVE this sofa! My husband, kid, even my cats love it, too! It's low, so I'm making a platform for it (because my knees aren't getting any younger). It has a contemporary design that's beautiful. Shipping is slow (1 to two weeks), BUT ONLY because it's made when ordered with quality in mind.
If I was buying this for a teen's room for being slept on every night? I'd buy the Couchbed instead because it has memory foam and less pieces, BUT that COULD easily be fixed with a topper if you much prefer the style of this. I am using mine in an office/guest room right now. I love the style so much, though, I'll be buying the sofa as soon as I can save the cash for that "someday" bigger living room that'll fit both.
If YOU have the money, though, stop looking and BUY it!

Works with Note 4
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this hoping it would work with my Note Pro 22.2 & it does (if you disengage the SPen that comes with it OR change the SPen settings for the device to not recognize the SPen). It also works beautifully with my Note 4 so I'm happy!
