IS IT CLEANABLE

I replaced a similar product ( different manufacture ) that I had for a few years. The screw thread broke on the push button pourer/opener and therefore leaked . (I used to unscrew it after every use to wash it ) The new flask, which seems okay but, pours out of the push button, as did the previous product, but also out of the side of that cap. Not a problem but doesn't seem to be correct to me. Anyway it does what it is supposed to do ! I am not sure if I should try and unscrew the new one to clean but if not I`m worried the inside of the cap unit is a germ catcher
