    Great book for cancer patients
I am a current cancer patient who is looking for alternative approaches to working with this disease. I have a Ph.D. in public health and I have been skeptical of a lot of the literature and websites on this subject. This book provides a balanced and well documented approach to examining the subject of nutrition and cancer. It is also easy to read and understandable for those who do not have an extensive science background. I particularly liked the fact that Quillin did not slam the conventional cancer treatments (as do some of the other books on alternative treatments), but suggests that nutritional approaches can work in concert with them. I am using some of what he suggests and have learned more from its reading.

    LifeFit
This is an excellent book for anyone who wants to know the benefits of exercise and an active lifestyle. It is written by a researcher in the field of fitness and is, therefore, well documented and research based. Despite it research basis, it is well written and readable. A great one to get even thought it is 10 years old in 2006. The information is still relevant and useful.
