Indrajit - The best part of the season
The season begins with a very complicated arc, the shaman arc with Alti. I personally disliked this arc most of all. However, the season winds down in "A Family Affair", with the Destroyer and Hope being killed, which is a better episode. This entire episode's major feature was the look of the Destroyer. The Destroyer was a very well made concept and villain. The overall look and feel of the character was reminiscent of Alien: Resurrection's Ripley and the Newborn Alien. In many cases, it even shared a heavily similar instance. However, to implement something like this into a Xena storyline worked well overall. The beginning of the season is rather dull, as I said. However, the season redeems itself through "The Way", an episode featuring Indrajit, a very awesome villain with numerous arms and weapons. Indrajit was the best character in this season. The episode features characters such as Hanuman and Krishna, making it very legendary in appearance and essence. Surpassing the norms of the humanoid characteristics, this was a well made episode. Others in the season that were also exceptionally well made were "Devi" and "Paradise Found". In "Devi", a maniacal spirit bounces from body to body, causing chaos in the Indian town. This works quite well for a storyline with the appearance of Eli. In "Paradise Found", we meet Aiden, who uses his knowledge of peace to seduce Gabrielle into becoming stone, like so many before her. Through obtaining complete serenity, he makes all his victims into stone. However, Xena interferes once realizing Aiden is a villain. I liked the character of Aiden as well. Near the end of the season, in the episode "Ides of March", Xena and Gabrielle are finally crucified like the premonition had been told. Xena couldn't escape her fate passed on to her by Alti. Personally, this season had some extremely awesome parts and some pretty lame parts. There was a balance of everything when it came to storyline. There was some depth in this season when it came to morals, but it was MUCH greater in season 6. Season 4 had some very poorly conveyed storylines, such as the shaman arc. This wasn't necessarily because of how it was made. Every episode is made well in the technical department. However, the episode with Alti were just extremely dull. As much as I dislike the character of Alti, I found the rest of the season to be very well made with awesome villains such as Aiden and Indrajit, who I loved a lot throughout the series. The best characters for me are villains, and an emotionally powerful villain is what makes for a great episode. Alti was a poor villain in construct for the shaman episodes, and that's why those episodes suffered when it came to viewing value. Aside from the shaman arc being poor, everything else seemed to be well done. Another notable episode that is well made is "Locked Up and Tied Down", where Xena is sent to Shark Island prison for a crime she didn't commit. There's a ton of reasons why prison works well when incorporating emotion and mannerisms, and this episode is no exception. The Captain of the prison is a major highlight. He beats on, teases, and executes many of the captives of Shark Island and his character is also well performed. Also, the character of Najara is explored well in "Crusader" and "The Convert". Najara's judgment and decisions of purity are majestically performed. Overall, this season is extremely well done aside from the shaman arc and is a very awesome season for most Xena fans.

Carnage - The Perfect Addition to Any Marvel Mashers Villain Collection
Carnage, Spider-Man and Venom's most dangerous and most entertaining foe; I was expecting the release of this Masher piece most of all and when it was released, it did not disappoint. Aside from being my overall favorite Marvel character, it was well worth the wait as the symbiotic attachments, sleek red and black design, and additional detail make for the best incarnation of any Mashers lineup yet. No Spider-Man Mashers villain collection is complete without this vicious villain to spice things up for collectors and toy enthusiasts alike - and he's all ready to paint the town red!

Awesome... Lord Slug and the Tree of Might are majestic flicks!
This is one awesome combination on Blu-Ray. You don't want to miss this set... no Dragon Ball movie collection is complete without this installment. And these two movies are no exception when it comes to awesome characters and plot; especially the villains. The villains in this set are just plain exquisitely designed... of course; looking even better on Blu-Ray than ever before. I mean, these were released prior on DVD and this is just the best quality you can pick up these movies out there! In the Tree of Might, the story is plenty awesome as always; Turles and his evil minions (Amond, Daiz, Cacao, and the Rezun/Rakasei combo) threaten the planet with their devastating Tree of Might. Of course, they are all toppled by the end of the flick, but they're mannerism and characteristics make this another gem for any Dragon Ball collection. This movie's an awesome one and it fits well with the Saiyan story arc of the series (supposed to take place in that era)... Very sweet; the villains are always awesome... on par with the always excellent Frieza saga debacle... which was obviously the most climactic of the sagas... In the Lord Slug movie, we've got some more Frieza-esque baddies the likes of which include Angila, Wings, Medamatcha, and Lord Slug himself. They try to take over the planet and terrafreeze it for their own purposes... of course, their plot is halted by Goku and comrades... such as Piccolo, Gohan, etc. The plot's well sustained... another of the good movies out of the 14 or so Dragon Ball Z related movies out there. These are all really good additions in terms of story/plot/characters... and the overall music and experience is well intact. They're a steal being offered as these awesome two-packs... since they were released as singles. It's much better in this format when it comes to picture quality and it's better due to the fact that there's two in each set. These are some awesome movies overall, I greatly recommend them for all Dragon Ball fans. The Lord Slug and Tree of Might flicks are two of the best ones out there... (I'd say the best is ultimately the "Bardock: Father of Goku" movie, but that's because of the excellent back-story and even better designed villains such as Frieza, Zarbon, and Dodoria)... But this set is another great one. I noticed that the Dragon Ball movies were very, very good in terms of plot and characters up until Broly showed up. Then, it just became horrid and poor in terms of villain roster, character development, and overall story. So... you can skip those Broly movies... but these are just plain awesome in terms of story... and needed for any Dragon Ball collection. I highly recommend them with full sincerity.
