Good cleaning rod
I've had a non coated rod for ages. No one has a coated rod around here. I received this and the coating seems to be strong and helps prevent the metal from touching things it shouldn't, the barrel parts. It's a coated rod so it is what it is and it seems to be good quality. It also comes with a tool to help guide it to prevent it from touching even tho it is coated.
Price is good as well.

Works very well
1 of 1 found this helpful First, I have ordered a wall adapter for this charger. Since it needs 2.1 amps, I ordered a 3 amp adaptor. That way it isn't fully loaded. Right now, I'm using the USB ports on my computer which can supply up to 3 amps. So far I've charged a couple size D 10,000 mAh batteries and a couple AA 2,600 mAh batteries, all Tenergy. I expect the size D batteries to take a while but the AA batteries take longer than other chargers as well. I figured out that this charger charges batteries slower at the end but that gives a more complete charge. In the long run, that is a good thing.
The display gives quite a lot of information about the batteries. The display is easy to read even for my old eyes. So far, the batteries being charged have not even got warm to the touch. They are barely above room temp. That also is a good thing. The charger doesn't seem to get warm either.
The only thing I wish was better, putting batteries in and taking them out. That said, I've had this problem with almost all the chargers I've every had, large or small. I wish they would put a handle or something on the negative tab so that the user can use that to pull the tab back to insert or remove batteries. Maybe one day we will see that.
Overall, this is likely the best battery charger as far as quality I've ever had. It also gives a complete charge as well. I may buy another one of these so that I can charge more batteries at a time.

It works
I am using this in a trail camera. It works just like it should so far. No complaints.
