Unusable for Miele S8 Cat Dog Vacuum
The plastic slide in mount fits into the G/N, but is missing a raised lip across the top, which allows dirt/dust/hair to bypass the bag and go directly to the motor. Used it for some time before I realized this was happening and the small fabric filter that you cut out to fit behind the bag was clogged solid, and the carbon filter cartridge was also clogged with debris. Tried another bag and after 10 minutes of vacuuming, found the same issue of it leaking around the top edge of the bag opening. Bought some Miele Genuine GN HyClean and compared the plastic mounts and saw the raised lip on the Genuine bags, whereas the DVC brand just has four raised plastic tabs. I don't know if this affects other models of Miele units, but it definitely was a waste of money for our Miele S8 Dog & Cat unit. Spend a little more and get bags that you can use! The bag was oversized as well, though that was not the problem...
