Once I started it had to keep reading.
This short but compelling book is a factual recollection of what life was like for tenement women in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Many women gave us a "tell-all" and very frank insight what life was like for them in all aspects of daily their daily existence.. It made me proud and very grateful to be a woman in today's society with an extreme admiration for their tenacity yet gentle nature.
