Pleasantly surprised!
Even though it was refurbished, it came packed in a new Haier box, and looked like brand new! The instruction booklet was even still wrapped in factory packaging. I used it for a few weeks before posting this. So far, it works very well! Not super quiet, but much better than the old one I had.
I'm not crazy about dumping the water out of it - if you don't dump it out of one specific corner, it will dump all over instead of pouring out easily. But I thought it was a great deal, it's working very well in a 68-70 degree basement, and I'm happy I bought it! I hope it lasts a long time.
