Recommend for the amateur photographer

Stable platform, everything clicks in solid, it holds my camera well, and the level gauges are properly aligned - although they aren't the most responsive to movements of one or two degrees, they're quite cheap. This has all the features I want as an amateur photographer. Professional tripods can do everything this can do better, but at an order of magnitude higher cost. As a yardstick, I would recommend this tripod to anyone who isn't up to a level that they're claiming it on their tax return.
