"The 50s" - a heavy tome
This is somewhat heavy, detailed reading, but fascinating. Halberstam's history makes one wonder how we survived the era. He makes all the major players come alive as human.

Overall a good read
Of the 7 stories in this book, 3 are up there with Grisham’s best, including one story that gets a sequel later in “Sparring Partners” . Two others are thoughtful but so-so. Serious Grisham fans, like myself, will for the most part be happy to have this book.

Fascinating book, not just on the coffee table!
What an awesome story. One of the best shows Discovery has ever aired. This is a great companion book, much more than a coffee table ornament. I wish the story was at least twice as long as it was. For anyone interested in serious space travel, and weary of the silly scientific assumptions of Star Trek etc. (and I AM a Trekker), this is a must-read/must-see. You'll want to read/see this more than once.
