Boring

I purchased so that my daughter could view it as part of her VCE studies!

Hints and helps!!
I have found that the QB60 water pump can have a few issues!
1) the small brass primer screw should only be tightened slightly because there is a small black washer that can be crushed !
2) to prime the pump I suggest just loosening the screw a tad, then running water from a tap into the end of the hose which will go into a water tank. I used a clear plastic hose to see the water inside. Water will slowly come out of the priming screw.. then hold the end of the hose and put it well down into the top of the tank and start the pump!
3) the pump may seem to start but the fan will not move .. so no water flow. I suggest a short hard hit onto the black housing over the fan may have the desired effect! If this fails, then turn off the power, use a screw driver to prise off the black housing and gently tap the plastic fan blades to get them moving. Replace the housing, then put the power back on.. QED !!
4) the pump can also be used to increase tap pressure from a tank that may already have an outlet tap..
