Resident Evil Gaiden
1 of 1 found this helpful I recently bought the game Resident Evil Gaiden which has now allowed me to complete my resident evil games collection. This game is great fun you start off in the game as Barry Burton (from Resident Evil 1) on a mission to investigate a submarine. You find out that Leon S Kennedy (Resident Evil 2) went to investigate but has gone missing. The gameplay for this game in my oppinion is pretty good.When you move around you are in 3rd person view allowing you to see your character, but when you bump into a zombie it engages you into a battle and changes to 1st person view in which a bar moves left and right across the screen and you try to get the cursor in the middle of the icon to do maximum damage. The game is a lot like past Resident Evil games as you have to do a lot of searching around to find keys and other locations.I have only just gotten the game today and have really just started but i can tell this game is going to be something special. the graphics are not too bad and the music is pretty strange.the zombie groans can be a little annoying as the disrupt the music every now and then but you get used to that. I have been told that the word gaiden means side story so its not a main part of the Resident Evil franchise but still a great and extremely rare game to find for your collection. To all of you who are big Resident Evil fans i think you should really give this a go, but i also think that this game will appeal to non Resident Evil fans as well. I hope you find this review usefull now get out there and kick some zombie butt.
