Great beginners book for young children
Pros - colourful fun illustrations, the music is printed large, easy for the kids to read. The order of concepts learnt is good and is a good pace for young kids. There's also lots of familiar songs to learn which the kids love it when they recognise it.
Cons - the terminology used is American (quarter notes, half notes, measures etc.), i don't find this a big deal as I explain things rather than reading the explanations off the page, but something to be aware of if teaching in Australia.
