NECA prop: good but not perfect
Two things would have made NECA's horse better:
(Keep in mind I am a BR nerd so some may see this as nitpicking)
- Instead of resin it would be nice if it was made of wood, like the original prop (or at least it's talked about as being wood)
- The date on the bottom does not match the handwriting or style of the writing on the original prop. It's the same size and the date is correct, but that's it. The color, handwriting and etching are totally off. A minor detail, but it just surprised me that they eyeballed it instead of doing an impression of the original text and duplicating it
All that being said, unless you are going to carve it yourself or buy the original prop for five figures, this is as close as you can get. I am happy with my purchase, and it's not super easy to find
