this is the rod that you want for those midget native brook trout 5-8 " long, they feel huge on it!
sure, it's made in china, but it's sturdy enough to land 1 1/2 lb. trout with no net. not sure if i'd recommend larger fish this way, but you can play bigger fish with it and net them. the rod surface has a nice clearcoat finish, rod blank is epoxied into a plastic handle with super dense foam grip that you can stick a small hook into without destroying it. (no hook keeper). 6 ceramic lined guides instead of plain steel that the el-cheapos use. reel seats are apparently stainless steel, but threads are plastic which is adequate for the task. overall, a great, inexpensive ultralight rod that makes small fish thrilling to play. i'm going to order more of these for gifts to fishermen friends and family.

mahogany rush cd set
very pleased with this 3 cd set of mahogany rush. sound quality was great, and the price for 3 cd's was very reasonable.
