Great for many types of projects

I have purchased these before and since they deliver the rated capacity (I tested them) I am back for more. I am using these to replace old battery packs in my metal detectors. I can install these for about $10 instead of purchasing new replacement packs for over $55. The USB charger has a smart DC-DC boost circuit that senses when it is attached to the battery pack. Once it is attached then the output is active and it will deliver as much as 12VDC when the cells are reaching full charge then it will turn OFF.

I put 4 of these into a 4 AA battery holder to output over 16 volts. I then modified connections so it would slide into my variable speed DC Dremel

Brought my old tool back to life, and it's even better than new. The quality is OK, the spring connectors move around a bit. so you have to adjust them slightly during battery installation. For home projects it is perfect
