Brick phone to the rescue!
This is a great phone with a lot of functionality but perhaps a little too much personality of its own... I've had an i760 for a number of years, I bought it on Ebay used for about $300 and it came with 5 batteries and 6 chargers. This is the newest smartphone that you can get through Verizon that does not require the data plan. So if you want a smart phone and not a data plan, this is the best you can do. But not to fear, for it does have wifi that works surprisingly well. With the built in wifi, you can connect to your home's high speed internet or to various free hot spots. It runs on Windows Mobile. Windows Mobile has its ups and downs. A huge plus is that its been around forever so there's just tons and tons of apps for it. Games, IM, practical apps, all of it. This phone is also one of the few models supported by Qik (a video streaming service). For the most part, its fast and responsive and doesn't crash often. On the downside, there is no unified app market like you get on an iDevice or an Android phone. Windows Mobile in and of its self is about as user friendly and stable as Windows 98 with the task bar disabled with all of the added awkwardness and instability of a mobile device. There's lots of little quirks with Windows Mobile that you might have trouble getting used to. Text message alerts are sometimes delayed, it can only sink with MS Outlook (unless you use FinchSync), Internet Explorer is hideously awful (install Opera!!), things like that. They keyboard feels nice, and works well. The touch screen is sensitive and responsive. The call quality is fine. The overall build of the phone is quite solid. The phone is a bit of a brick, and it will weight down your pocket unless you have a belt clip. I have no idea how ladies fit these phones in their little purses. A feature few seem to talk about is Bluetooth. The Bluetooth support on this phone is fine. I used mine with a set of Motorola S9 HD headphones often. Sometimes it would drop unless I put the phone in my shirt pocket. I used it with a very cheap WalMart bluetooth ear piece and the connection was solid with it. Sadly the earpiece was such horrid quality, it didn't matter. The camera is nothing special. It takes OK pictures, it does not take video (with the stock camera app anyway). Its nothing to write home about. Overall, its a nice phone. I used it for many years until the screen cracked for an unknown reason (I had it in my pocket). The phone has been dropped multiple times and had a little damage to the outside case, but the electronics were always rock solid. The battery life was quite decent. It would go for quite a long time on one of the extended life batteries. After having this phone, I would not want to get another Windows Mobile device. When my i760 finally died after its hard life of hell, I replaced it with a Droid 3 which I put in an otterbox. I would recommend this phone if you're looking for a smart phone with a lot of usability and not pay for an expensive data plan. I would not recommend this phone if you're a fan of iDevices. It is quite different, you will bang your head. Once you get used to Windows Mobile, its fine. Getting used to it can be a little bit of a challenge. I like this phone a lot better than my Samsung BlackJack II. Be sure to update to Windows Mobile 6.1! This is a free update from the Samsung website. SD card size is also limited to 2 GBs! Don't waste money on a 16GB card on

Its everything you would expect from a modern game console
Well, it's an Xbox, what is there to say? I'm a PC gamer, so to me the Xbox is like the PC's awkward cousin that you only invite to parties because your mom makes you. But, my friends want to play Halo with me. Ok, fine, I got an Xbox. I got this holiday bundle that came with a hard drive and a couple games, turned out to be a pretty good idea. I gave the racing game to a friend that enjoys them, I switch between PC and Xbox for Skyrim, depending on where I happen to be at the time. The controller takes a little getting used to if you've never used one before. A lot of people think it's the most comfortable controller out there, to me it was physically painful to use it for any length of time. But, the more you play with it, your hands get used to it. The controller is meaty and solid feeling, and I like the fact that it uses normal batteries and that they're quick to replace when it dies in the middle of battle. The unit its self is sleek and stylish, and seems fairly well built. I took apart a broken one, and they're pretty packed full of stuff inside. The touch controls work exactly as you would expect them to, and it makes pretty little dinging sounds when you push a button on the front of the console. The controller turns the console on; that's quite a nice feature. It has this Windows 8-ish tile interface, which seems fine to me. My friends all hate it, but I thought it was pretty easy to navigate with the controller. The on-device store is pretty nice. There's lots of apps and movies and music and such you can stream over the internet at pretty reasonable prices (if not free). The game library is quite large, and it also offers a section of independent games... which can be scary. It seems like MS put a lot of AppleTV functionality into the Xbox, which is nice in a lot of ways. Streaming movies and music is very easy and kinda nice. There's also functions to stream things directly from your Windows computer. The wireless works... it's not anything special. And, a feature that no one seems to mention... I plugged a USB keyboard into it and I was able to type codes and such in without an issue, much faster than dealing with the controller-based on screen keyboard. It did not recognize a USB mouse, however. The unit does get warm, be sure to not set anything on top of it. So... game play... it's everything you would expect. You put a game in, most seem pretty stable and run equivalent to the PC variants on medium graphics. Pretty good considering the ancient video hardware the Xbox boasts. The AV cable it comes with looks nice and fancy. However, it covers the HDMI port if you plug it in. A bummer if you need analog audio and HDMI video (like, if you're using a computer monitor). This was a very simple modification, just dismantle the housing around the Xbox end of the cable, and both connectors fit and work just fine. All in all, no real complaints. It doesn't seem like anything special, it has a lot of media functionality, and a large game selection. The price point is low enough that a kid could spend a summer mowing lawns to buy one and a couple games. I just wish Xbox Live was free. That's a real ripoff.

Ice Hockey Puck - 1 Hockey Puck - Official 6 oz. - New

Very nice
I bought one of these and one of the Czech made ones to compare them. This does seem to be of higher quality! There are no molding marks on these and the material is very sturdy. Both seem to be the same material, the difference I notice is the fit and finish of the Canadian puck is better. I don't know anything about hockey, I use these as non-stop surfaces for holding things that would otherwise fall off of my smooth desk. Pretty cheap for an indestructible paper weight I must say.
