High quality handles in both material strength and finish.
I own at least 100 products manufactured on Qeensland's Sunshine Coast by Emro - all have proven 100% reliable and durable. These satin finish handles are up to Emro's consistent premium standard.

Bought two - neither of them works.
I bought two of these and neither of them works. I used fresh Duracell 9v batteries - connected as they could only be connected. The red LED would only slightly flicker every now and again in dozens of pressings of the power button (and the devices were clearly not working at all - it wasn't just that the LEDs were faulty). A poorly manufactured product and a complete waste of money at any price..

"African Queen" Excellent restoration and high quality transfer to Bluray, with extras
I had recently watched the 2006 MRA label DVD, which has plenty of noticeable faults from their well worn film source. In stark contrast, this 2010 "Beyond" label Blu-ray looks and sounds perfect throughout. The image is pillarboxed to retain the original 4:3 theatrical aspect ratio, and sensibly the mono audio is encoded as 2.0 Dolby Digital. Valuable and unique new bonus features include a full commentary by the film's cinematographer Jack Cardiff and a professionally produced one hour detailed and informative HD documentary: "Embracing Chaos: Making The African Queen" - with contributors such as Martin Scorcese. There's also the original theatrical trailer. The "Making Of" featurette is vital for enhancing our enjoyment and appreciation of this classic film, and for understanding aspects such as the very rich colour, the risks and illness endured by the cast and crew, the development of the characters, the script writing and the arrival at such a satisfying conclusion (way better than the book). Highly recommended.
