They might be great new, but this 2nd hand one was a dog.

I would have assumed having a Lacie / Porsche badge meant quality, but in this case the 250Gb drive only had about 32Gb of space on it even after reformatting. Sure it was second hand, but I have USB sticks with more storage space than this drive. Other Lacie products I have owned have been flawless.

Don't waste your money.

States a 200 mile range on the ad yet wouldn't pull in a single TV station.

For online browsing through your TV it's all you need.

I've had this combination for well over a year now and am currently using it still to type this review. The keyboard has been designed to present as much keypad as possible without all the boxy chassis around it so you end up with a normal sized keyboard in a smaller footprint, good for my coffee table. It is easy to clean (the keyboard, not my coffee table), and uses power sparingly (I frankly can't even remember replacing the batteries). It is resistant to grime and my two Indian Ringneck birds who occasionally rip off a button (not an easy thing due to the button design), but luckily the buttons just pop back in. The mouse works as a mouse should and the whole wireless setup works precisely at my range of 2 metres from the TV and PC. You can spend more money on a keyboard mouse combo but if you're just using it for browsing then this is all you need.
