Good software but comes with strings attached
1 of 1 found this helpful Intuit, the makers of Quicken, are requiring an Intuit ID and online account before you can utilize the software. Before you can startup the program and open a file, you must first login. I tried several times to connect to my existing Intuit ID, but could not get it to work. I even tried setting up a brand new Intuit ID - no success.
This is an obvious attempt by Intuit to centralize their customer base to an online platform, probably to push other products and services. But all I wanted was to use Quicken on my laptop without being connected to Intuit online.
As a result, I have abandoned Quicken, and am now using another product.
