Forget About Replacing Tips Because They Don't Exist.

Forget about replacing tips because they don't exist. The tips ARE NOT on eBay or Weller's web sites. If you like this iron (which I do), you'll end up having to buy a new one (which I'm not doing). Too bad they lost my business. I highly recommend avoiding this product.

Do your research on this cymbal. Do not rely on Paiste web site for sample.

DO NOT BUY THIS CYMBAL BLIND OR BASED ON THE PAISTE WEB SITE SOUND SAMPLES. If you are interested in this cymbal, go to a local drum shop and try it out. The music stores in my area do not have this product in their inventory so I studied the different chinas on the Paiste site. I thought that the wild china would compliment the sound of my other cymbals and fit with the type of music I play. It doesn't. To make it work, I decided to put it by the ride for an accent light hit. I was lucky to find a Wuhan 10" for a dollar at a pawn shop that (even though does not match my mostly 2002 setup) seems to allow the Wild China fit in better. Not sure if I am going to keep it and now I am very apprehensive of the other chinas Paiste offeres.
