Large "O" ring

I bought this oil cap as the O-ring in the original had worn and no longer held the cap securely. This cap is an exact replacement, but the new "O" ring was too large to fit into the opening. Rather than force the cap in and risk damaging it, I ran the engine with the old cap fitted until the engine was warm allowing the opening to expand. The new cap and "O" ring then fitted in snuggly.
