Pocket Antiques Encyclopedia

This is an invaluable book for the antiques enthusiast. It is packed with useful information...quite exceptional....but not so surprising as the author is the best known British antiques expert who has been publishing antiques guides and pricing books for decades. I have never had such a book so packed full of information, all of which is relevant to the collector or browser. Informative and fascinating. Wonderful value!

Lovely Jazz Piano

Brilliant and accessible jazz piano covers of songs by such glitterati as Nick Drake and Feist, as well as self-penned originals. His tonal quality is beautifully balanced and the entire album is a gem. A masterpiece of musical understatement.

A Nicely Condensed Star Atlas

Star charts are accurate and useful. Information is of use to the amateur astronomer. One improvement could be to show the paths of the inner and outer planets as seen in the sky in sections entitled: "Behaviour and Appearance of the Inner Planets," and "Aspects Of An Outer Planet." Showing the retrograde motion of the outer planets. A useful pocketbook, but as a supplement to other star atlases such as the Philips Star Atlas, and other standards.
