Delicate install, but a great unit!
The PAC VCI-GM2 lets you add standard RCA (composite) video to the factory GM TRN touchscreen nav headunit. It is a bit delicate to install the ribbon cable, but not terribly difficult. Once that is done, the rest is just like installing any other aftermarket audio/video gear to your car.
When not in use, there is not predictable change in video quality for the factory interface. When in use, the input video quality is about as good as composite video should be. More than adequate for a backup camera or similar use.

Works perfectly at JEDEC speeds, but experienced memory errors at XMP speed (1866). Might just be an incompatibility with my old system though.
