    Dave is fantastic! Wonderful communication every step of the way and Dave really knows how to pack a precision instrument… the item was wrapped in bubble wrap. The knobs were protected with cardboard reinforcement… And then it was double boxed floating with peanuts ! The typewriter arrived in working order and I’m very happy! Bravo Dave!

    *BUYER BEWARE* The seller misrepresented the item in the photo and in communication prior to purchase and refused to remedy the issue when contacted. The items I wished to purchase were not sent and seller refused to address the error. His reply is "You can resell them" Perhaps find a different buyer.

    Buyer made an offer for 3 elements at a reduced price and I lowered the price and buyer paid. The listing says at the beginning: "**** I ONLY HAVE THE ELEMENTS LISTED BELOW, DO NOT ASK ABOUT ONES IN THE PICTURE ABOVE, I AM NOT GOING TO UPDATE THE PICTURE EVERY TIME THAT I SELL ONE. :-) **** I'm sorry that you didn't read the listing fully and it's VERY frustrating when people don't take the time to fully read the description that I took a lot of time to explain what they are buying.

    Selectric typewriters are fragile, heavy and complex items. The vast majority of shippers of these typewriters on e-bay have no idea how easily damaged they are in shipping. Once damaged, they often cannot be easily repaired because, unless you live in a fairly large city, there often is no one nearby who is qualified to work on them. Dave Blarge did an excellent job and it arrived in beautiful condition due to his meticulous attention to professional restoration and packing protection.
