Charging Issues
The battery charges in the original Hoover charger but does not stop charging. First charged the battery for > 24 hrs and it lasted 29 mins of use, which is not bad. Recharged for 8 hrs and it lasted thru 17 mins of use, which is satisfactory also. However, the charger not shutting off automatically is of great concern. (Could overheat if not monitored closely).
Also had problem starting the charge. Have to unplug the charger and resart charge 2 or 3 times before Red LED goes out and battery actually begins charging. Should have went with the more expensive OEM battery.

Works But Not Identical Part Replacement
Not a direct replacement part. Had to modify the trigger linkage and breather cover to make it work. Works okay now but required several modifications.
