Dell Precision M6600 Intel i7 Extreme 2.70GHz 16GB + 500GB HDD Windows 10 Pro

Great Computer, Not Refurbished Well, or Correctly.

M6600 is an excellent computer. I found this vendor slow to respond. It was received with Windows 10 Home addition, but with a Windows 10 Pro License sticker/key code. I had to spend all night downloading a Windows 10 ISO image from Microsoft and then burned that image to a DVD. I then had to wipe out the hard drive and install Windows 10 Pro from scratch. This all took hours and was a major pain in the ass. Once I got a good copy Windows on the machine, it worked very well. I know the M6600 series, which is my favorite laptop / mobile media computer. From this vendor: In addition to the wrong OS which could not be activated, about 4 screws are missing internally. the front center hard drive bay flops around with only 1 screw.

Only one was good, but luckily the 5 watt one

Of all the through terminators, only one was really good, the one with the fins. I bought this lot for that one. Three of the others were a few ohms under tolerance and two are just open. Luckily, they can be opened. I can order 2 watt precision film 50 ohm resistors and repair these as there can be un-assembled.
