Excellent, cost-effective replacement
I found this battery assembly to be well-built with quality materials. The instructions were outstanding. Anyone with some soldering skills and mechanical ability can do the replacement by following the detailed instructions. Compared to prices others quote for a rebuilt battery pack this is a very cost-effective solution. My 20-year old P-C drill works like new.
If I like it so much why 4 stars? Two minor issues: the insulator sleeves on the cells seem thicker than in the original P-C battery. I had to cut-away some in order to get it to fit into the case. Second, the insulator on the bottom of the assembly was not punched with a correct size hole tot fit over the post in the housing bottom. Again, I had to trim it to fit. In retrospect, I should have just removed and discarded both of the thick fish-paper insulators on the top and bottom of the assembly. The original P-C assembly had none.

Nice set of basic tools
A very useful set of tools. Especially recommend it to anyone wanting to try carbide insert tooling.

Seems well made, But...
Seems Well made, But...When i received this item, I was impressed:very good quality cord, lamp housing of substantial material and good design, it is bright!!! Then... I tried to extend the hook to hang it from my jeep hood and the hook part immediately broke off in my hand! So much for hanging it until I fabricate a more substantial hook.
Overall recommendation, buy one, just don't try to use the flimsy hook.
