A far cheaper way to obtain a great new iPhone than through "Upgrades"
7 of 7 found this helpful Bought this unlocked iPhone 5c for my wife to replace her iPhone 4. It was simple to get the telecomm provider to swap out her phone and purchasing from someone other than the telecom provider makes the whole process *much* cheaper in the long run. While the 5c model does not have the fingerprint sensor like the newer models, it has a very fast processor and works very well for its intended purpose. Sound quality, connectivity and signal strengths are comparable to other phones. The cheaper construction materials may make it cheaper to produce, but they do not make the phone seem less substantial in any way.

Don't ditch your dead AEBS... buy an OEM power brick to keep the WiFi humming!
1 of 1 found this helpful No LED at all in the front of your Apple Extreme Base Station, but the LEDs over the Ethernet ports are flashing green on and off? Could be that there's nothing wrong with your base station but you just need a new power brick. Put the old brick up to your ear and see if you can hear a screeching sound pulsing with the LEDs. If you hear a screech your power brick is bad. Buy one of these and you were back in business for very little money.

Excellent product if used properly
Glass has only been installed for a couple of days so how do I know if it will hold up? However, it stuck to the existing (thin) layer of residual original adhesive and also to the replacement glass which were both thoroughly cleaned with mineral spirits prior to installation. Curing time was as expected. However, please think twice about using this product in a standard (inexpensive) caulking gun. Despite following recommendations for heating the tubes prior to use (I used a hot engine block for ~30 minutes) it was still almost impossible to deliver the adhesive with the inexpensive gun I normally use for other caulking jobs. Had to use both hands to squeeze the trigger and therefor the delivery of a smooth, equal bead was impossible. So the finished job is ugly, but it adheres *really* well. Excellent product if used in a commercial battery-operated gun.
