affordable inverter that works
1 of 1 found this helpful I'm using this for over a year without issues. my solar panels max is 4.6KW and i have attached Renogy 48v LiFePo battery of 50A just for backup. This is feeding the excess production to the grid and when there is no grid power it will use solar and battery to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
The appliances connected to backup line usually are not disconnected during power outtage. But sometimes the transfer time will fail to ensure uninterrupted operation and the appliance will restart momentarily.
Overall, if you consider the fraction of the cost of some other inverters, this seems to be a good value. I'm planning to buy another one for backup/additional panels. in this case i would need to purchase parallel kit for two devices that would cost some 130 bucks additional.
