A must read for the aspiring missionary
This book is the best book I have read on the subject of personal experience and testimony of the work of God in present day.
The book starts with a vivid and compelling testimony of a boy's personal experience with the living God and the way He works on a personal level in today's world. He transitions to his family's personal account of a fledgling attempt at missionary work in a hostile environment and how that ground-zero startup morphed into a powerful and effective catalyst that forced the world to take notice of a conflict raging in that part of the world.
He then describes his experiences in a personal journey of inquiry into the questions that each of us who are serious christians face in our own lives regarding struggle, trial, persecution, triumph, and heartfelt worship in a hostile and wicked world that is seemingly dominated by Satanic forces at war with God.
