As a scholar and professor of history, I look for those items that can be used in a class as well as for research. My motivation is simple: It's generally cheaper to buy antiquarian pieces than travel to view them in a regional research library. I am most grateful to all the sellers for the diversity of their items and polite interaction. It's been a good experience for me for over 20 years!
