Reluctantly giving positive feedback. Card was delivered without a plastic holder for protection, and was damaged when opening the package. Seller has great communication and advised that shipping and packaging is out of his control as this is done by a third party. Shipping cost was excessive at $14 and packaging was lacking. My suggestion would be for the seller to handle his own packaging and not rely on a third party to avoid future problems. I basically gave away $17, not cool!

Karl Ove Knausgaard - A Death in the Family: My Struggle Book 1 (Paperback)
02 March 2017
A moving & descriptive piece of writing
I felt compelled to buy this after 'BBC Radio 4' did this on their 'Book at Bedtime' slot in January. I was not disappointed. Knausgaard describes his life; growing up; relationships with his family & friends; ups & downs (more of the latter) & it is easy from his writing to actually visualise the places & the people. His use of language is so descriptive, very occasionally boring for perhaps half a page, but it still compels & grips the reader to delve further into his life. A moving story of his tales of life & there is something which everybody can relate to at some point in the book.
