I buy and sell odds and ends. Ebay sells a lot of stuff you can't get in shops such as retrograde fashion.

A great value purchase that will brighten anyone's Day.
This was a very enjoyable series where the participants state the sentiments of most people and is a humorous tongue in cheek opinionated rant. The Christmas special is particularly good and the DVD is the sort you will definitely want to watch more than once.

BROOKSIDE'S SWAN SONG-UNFINISHED BUSINESS
1 of 1 found this helpful As a keen Brookside viewer since its inception, I was keen to see what is the final instalment of the show, there were plans for future DVD releases, but these have been shelved since Phil Redmond's Mersey TV was sold off. It was exciting stuff, with a very good climax and a fitting farewell for a show that lasted 21 years, before being axed, probably because the hard hitting issues that were formerly 'Brookside Only', became increasingly covered by other soaps. As Eastenders, Coronation Street & Emmerdale added extra episodes, I think people lost the time to watch Brookside on Channel 4, which was a shame. Another good part of the DVD was the extras which included actors' summaries of their time on Brookside, as well as seeing how the special effects were enacted.

A TIMELESS CLASSIC
The 'wall of Sound' is a genre of music that simply never dates. Over 40 years since the songs were made, they still sound as fresh as ever. Da Doo Ron Ron is a great floor filler & Baby I love you is especially good too. The fact that the 2nd album 'A Christmas Gift for You' is re-released every Christmas really says it all. The songs are unforgettable and get airplay on most music stations every year and so were 'made to last'. This is a twin CD set that I bought, not so much to 'add to my collection' but more as one that I know I will be playing regularly.
